Aug 10, Guwahati — In a move aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Northeast, the Northeastern Development Finance Corporation (NEDFi) has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Information and Resource Centre in Guwahati, along with an integrated Northeastern Region Databank.
The facility, funded and operated by NEDFi, is designed to serve as a hub for business intelligence, providing aspiring and established entrepreneurs with access to crucial economic data, market insights, and sector-specific resources. Officials say the centre will not only bridge the information gap but also create a network for collaboration among startups, investors, and policymakers.
Speaking at the launch, NEDFi representatives underscored the importance of accurate data and information in shaping business decisions, particularly in a region with unique economic challenges and opportunities.
